Lago Vista Road Update

The inclement weather projected for this week will, as a result, push the start date to next Monday, 9/18. To obtain the greatest results in performing asphalt repair, crack sealing, or seal coating we need the pavement to be free of debris and moisture. Asphalt cracking and pavement failures are a direct result of either moisture reaching the sub base, causing the sub base to soften and become unstable, or the strength of the sub base has become compromised due to high traffic loading. The latter is not typical with residential pavement design. This is why to achieve the greatest results we need to perform this work when conditions are warm and dry.
